Quick, I need something to swaddle!

Cuz I ain't got no baby no mo'. Frowwnnnn. He's one. Yup. And you know how everyone who has a child will without fail tell you that THEY CANNOT BELIEVE THEIR CHILD IS ONE(or 5, or 8, or 16)? AND LIKE, WHERE DID THE TIME GO??? Ugh, you guys it's true. It is so rudely and horribly true. It actually kind of freaks me out. Realizing that every parent is right - the time DOES fly. And I'm more of a linger kinda gal. A lets-stretch-this-out-as-long-as-we-can girl. A last-person-to-leave-the-party-cuz-i-dont-want-it-to-end chick. You get the idea. I feel like I'm already sending him off to college and hating on all his future girlfriends(watch yourselves lady babies!). Yeesh, this is gonna be rough.

He is my first ever one year old! And that is special business. So I threw him a PAR-TAY. A milk and cookies party. Oh you know it. I have been waiting to throw my child a party since I was born (or...for sure 11 months) I got the idea from my sister, who threw her youngest a milk and cookies party about a year and a half ago. It was so cute, and simple and I loved it. Hence the stealing of the theme. And who knew I'd ever throw a party complete with a theme??? (Me! I did!) And if I've ever threatened an insane amount of pictures before - you ain't seen nothin yet. This one totally takes the cake(pun?) It's the winner. The Valedictorian of picture posting! It's true, and I'm not even sorry about it. Ha, but seriously it's more pictures than anyone cares to see, it's mostly so I can look back and remember every little detail.

This is the man as I went in to sing him happy birthday when he woke up. Enjoy the blurry iphone pics.

And then I said, "Let them eat cake!" because I'm dramatic like that. And you know what people did? They ate cake. THEY ATE CAKE YO.

We stripped the lil man down to his dipe and let him at it. The little "cookies" on top of his cake are the smash cakes. Cute right?!? Here's 1 million pictures of proof. It's a sickness and I caaaaaaan't stop.

Kira continued...

Here are a few more from the photo shoot with Kira. I took sooooo many pictures and I just want to run through the streets throwing the Polaroids (there are no Polaroids) and making it rain with all of them as happy/crazy tears run down my face (it's an awesome visual and you know it) And yeah, I'm weird. You should know this by now. I promise I'll post something different soon (ex: it was someone's first birthdaayyyy! and I took no less than 7000 pictures..prepare your brain)

There are still so many more. Who knows, maybe a few more will pop up sporadically here and there. And you'll just have to humor me. I'm already itching to do another one. Who wants to be next?!? (Don't all raise your hands at once!) Come on. You know you wanna.
